RiSE Youth Group (2011-2016)

RiSE Youth Group is open for anyone from year 7 to twenty-five years of age.  All are welcome!

Established: 1st October, 2006

RiSE Youth Group held it's first ever event on 1st October 2006.  Formed by a group of young St Elizabeth's parishioners who were keen to have a "Revival in St. Elizabeth's" for each other and the other young people who attended the parish.  

Since then the group has been an enthusiastic and vibrant part of parish life, participating in Easter and Christmas liturgies, as well as hosting a youth mass every second Sunday of the month at 10:30am mass.  The group also meets every second and fourth Monday of the month, to talk about issues that affect young people and to have fun.

The objective of the youth group is to grow with St. Elizabeth's participating in various Parish activities and in the community. RiSE activities involves fund raising for charities including Sacred Heart Mission, Melbourne City Mission and the Red Cross Bushfire appeal.  RiSE also raises money for the parish through their annual event EMPOWERED a youth concert and BBQ showcasing the many talents of parishioners of St Elizabeth’s and their friends., hold concerts, have fun and parties, movie nights and do acts of social justice to better our community and ourselves.
